twine.nyc is now twine.us

News

Flash back to March, 2020:  the small but scrappy team at twine is all set to launch an exciting face to face networking/connection app in, you guessed it, New York City. twine meetups were scheduled to be held at pop up venues around the various boroughs of NYC throughout 2020, with our coming out party all set with 300+ RSVPs for March 18, 2020.  We had grand plans to roll out, worldwide, city by city in the months and years to follow.  NYC was our launch city.

Well, the world had other plans.

The pandemic hit, the world changed, and our target user went from someone seeking connection in NYC, to someone seeking connection within their community and their peers– wherever they may be.

As of today, twine.nyc is now officially twine.us (Us as in “You and Me,” not “USA”).

While we will always have fond memories of the excitement leading up to our ill fated IRL launch in Manhattan, we are excited to continue on our mission to build stronger “US” in the communities and organizations that we touch.

(On a personal note, I will miss starting every Zoom call with “Ah, so you are in NYC (narrator: he was not in fact, in NYC) How’s the weather?  What part?”

Finally, if you have been following us recently, you know that the Zoom.us ecosystem is a major area of focus for us.  If you want to see what we’ve been up to, please go take twine for Zoom for a spin.

Onward!
